1961 was a year of great turmoil and change in the US, and in the world. Our 1961 app brings this tumultuous year to life. The program begins with President Eisenhowers farewell speech, warning of the Military Industrial Complex transitioning and President Kennedys Inaugural speech. The program ends with an account of the arrival of combat helicopters in Vietnam.
